Construction Company Website Design: The Horgan GCI Rebrand
When we began working with Horgan General Contractors Inc., it was clear they’d spent the past two decades doing what they do best — building. Since 2002, they’ve been deeply rooted in the Palm Beach County community, earning trust through craftsmanship, connection, and word of mouth. Their reputation has kept them busy on job sites, not behind screens… which is exactly why their online presence hadn’t seen the same level of care and evolution as their work itself.
This project wasn’t about reinventing who they are, it was about creating a construction company website design that finally reflects the reputation they’ve already built offline. With strong foundations in place, the goal was to carry that same integrity, precision, and vision into a refreshed construction web design that supports the next chapter of their growth.
Honoring the Roots, Modernizing the Brand
From the start, we knew the heart of this project was about clarity, longevity, and refinement. Horgan’s original logo had meaning: it symbolized structure, stability, and craftsmanship. But over the years, the mark had become dense and dated, making it harder to use across modern platforms and marketing materials.
The new logo design was an exercise in restraint by opening up white space, simplifying the form, and allowing the architecture to speak for itself. The goal was to create a visual identity that feels timeless, professional, and forward-thinking while still recognizable to the clients who’ve trusted Horgan for decades.
We introduced a cleaner, bold style inspired by both residential rooflines and commercial skylines, bridging their dual expertise as builders of custom homes and commercial spaces. Paired with a modern serif font and deep navy and blues color palette, the result feels confident yet grounded, a reflection of a company that’s evolved without losing its roots.
Designing a Website That Reflects Craftsmanship
The website redesign process focused on simplicity, structure, and storytelling. We wanted visitors to immediately sense the level of quality and care that defines every Horgan project without overwhelming them with information.
We streamlined the navigation, built a clean project gallery, and organized their services into clear, easy-to-find categories: Custom Homes, Commercial Construction, and Large-Scale Additions & Guest Houses. The new site highlights their range and attention to detail while giving each project the space it deserves.
It also gave us an opportunity to showcase years of impressive work that had never been seen online. Organizing and curating that portfolio became a major part of the process transforming hundreds of project photos into a cohesive visual story that finally represents the scope of what they’ve built.
This phase of the project perfectly captured the essence of construction web design — balancing functionality, professionalism, and visual storytelling to create a site that feels as carefully built as the structures it showcases.
Building a Strong SEO Foundation
Alongside the design, we developed content rooted in keyword research and local SEO strategy. The goal was to strengthen Horgan’s visibility online without losing the authentic tone that has always defined their communication style.
We identified how local homeowners and developers actually search for their services — phrases like “custom home builders in Jupiter FL” and “commercial contractors Palm Beach” — and built content that connects those search patterns to the language Horgan already uses naturally.
Each service page was written to help potential clients quickly understand what they do while improving search discoverability. The new site is not just a visual upgrade; it’s a strategic foundation designed to support long-term growth.
Cohesive Branding, On and Offline
As the website came together, we extended the new brand into print, creating business cards that feel as refined and professional as the homes and spaces Horgan builds. Clean typography, the refreshed logo, and high-quality materials all carry that same sense of craftsmanship and care.
Together, the logo, website, and print collateral form a unified brand system — one that communicates expertise, precision, and trust across every client touchpoint.
The Next Chapter
For over 20 years, Horgan General Contractors has built their business on relationships — one project, one partnership, one handshake at a time. Their new online presence is simply an extension of that foundation.
This rebrand marks an exciting new phase in their evolution: one that honors where they’ve been while embracing where they’re headed. It’s proof that when the groundwork is strong, growth doesn’t mean starting over — it means building upward, with intention.
If your business has grown faster than your online presence, it might be time for a refresh that reflects who you’ve become.
