Does Your Beautiful Birth Chart use whole sign houses?
Yes. Whole sign is the house system I work in and teach in, and it is what your chart is calculated with. Each sign occupies one entire house, so nothing is split across two houses and no sign disappears from the cusps. Most chart software defaults to Placidus without telling you, which is why the same chart can look different depending on where you generate it.
What is a whole sign birth chart?
A whole sign birth chart assigns one zodiac sign to each of the twelve houses, starting from your rising sign. If you have Virgo rising, Virgo is the whole of your first house, Libra is the whole of your second, and so on around the wheel. It is the oldest house system in Western astrology and the clearest one to learn on, because the structure stays consistent no matter where or when you were born.
How is this different from the free birth chart?
It is the same chart. The free version calculates all of your placements and shows you the beginning of each interpretation, with the full sections locked. Unlocking opens the complete readings for your planets, signs, houses, aspects, elemental balance and chart patterns, along with your live transits and date navigation so you can move through your chart forward and backward in time. You are not buying a different chart. You are opening the parts you have already been shown the edge of.
Do I need my exact birth time?
For the full experience, yes. Your birth time sets your rising sign, and the rising sign determines your entire house structure. Without it you can still read every planet by sign and every aspect, which is a great deal of the chart, but the houses will not be reliable. Birth certificates are the usual place to find it.
Is this a reading?
Not exatly. It is a tool you use yourself. This does include a 1-2 page reading of the story of you, but a traditional reading is me (an astrologer) interpreting your chart for you on a call or via recording. This puts the chart and its meanings in your hands so you can explore your own placements, follow your transits, and keep coming back as things move. People who want both usually start here.
What if I am new to astrology?
That is who this experience is built for. The explanations sit alongside each placement, so you learn the language while you are looking at your own chart, which is far easier than memorizing meanings in the abstract.
How do I access it after I buy?
You get access straight away via email and it stays yours. Come back whenever you want to check a transit, look at a placement again, or see what is moving through your chart this week.
Can I look at transits, or is it only my natal chart?
Both. Your natal chart is the foundation, and you can move forward and backward through dates to see what is transiting it at any point. That is the part most people end up using most, because it turns the chart from a fixed picture into something you can check against your actual life.
