Florals
Flowers are most of what I paint. Roses come back again and again, along with lilies, peonies, dahlias, daisies, zinnias, orchids and the occasional tulip. Some sit in a vase as a still life, some fill the whole surface edge to edge, and a few drift into abstraction. I paint them loose and quick in acrylic and let the color do most of the work. They range from small studies on paper at $50 to large canvases.
