November 2026 Astrology Forecast:
Major Transits & Dates

November 2026 is the month two retrogrades end. Venus has been retrograde since 3 October and Mercury since 24 October, and both station direct on the same day.

What follows is a month that changes gear twice. The first half is still review. The second half moves, and the full moon at the end of it arrives on top of Uranus, which is not a quiet way to finish.

All dates Eastern. To see where these land in your own chart, pulling a free birth chart takes a minute.

New Moon in Scorpio, November 9

The new moon lands at 16 degrees Scorpio, with Mercury still retrograde four degrees away and Venus still retrograde in Libra.

This is a beginning made entirely out of material you already have. Both review planets are still moving backward. Nothing here is new information, which makes it a good moon for a decision you have been circling since early October and a poor one for committing to something you learned about this week.

Mars is at 22 degrees Leo, squaring the lunation by about four degrees. There is pressure in it, and Scorpio new moons rarely resolve gently.

Mercury and Venus Both Station Direct, November 13

Mercury stations direct at 5 degrees Scorpio in the morning. Venus stations direct at 22 degrees Libra that evening. Nine hours apart, on one day.

Two retrogrades that began three weeks apart in different signs releasing together is uncommon, and it gives this cycle a clean edge. Whatever the last six weeks have been reviewing, this is the day it stops being under review.

It does not mean everything resolves by dinner. Mercury does not clear its shadow until 30 November, so the material settles across the rest of the month. But the direction changes here, and that is worth marking.

🌟 Six weeks of review leaves you with something. Your Personal Pattern reads the whole chart as one system and shows the pattern underneath what kept coming back.

Scorpio Season Ends, November 22

The Sun enters Sagittarius, closing a Scorpio season that contained two retrogrades, a cazimi and a new moon in the same sign.

Sagittarius season is the register change. After six weeks of going underneath things, the questions get larger and less personal. For anyone who has spent October and November in the weeds of one situation, this is the point where it becomes possible to ask what it was all for.

More on this: Scorpio.

Full Moon in Gemini, November 24

The full moon is exact at 2 degrees Gemini, and Uranus is sitting at 3 degrees 44 minutes Gemini. That puts the Moon within one degree and twenty minutes of Uranus, which makes Uranus part of this lunation instead of background to it.

A full moon conjunct Uranus is the disruptive one. Things that have been held together by effort come apart, plans change at short notice, and information arrives that reorganizes the week. It is the most volatile day of the month and it is worth leaving room around.

Read it alongside what has just finished. Both retrogrades ended eleven days earlier, so this full moon lands on decisions that are barely dry. Some of them get tested immediately.

More on this: Uranus in Gemini.

Mars Enters Virgo, November 25

Mars leaves Leo and enters Virgo, where it spends the rest of the year.

Mars in Leo wants the thing to be impressive. Mars in Virgo wants it to work. The drive narrows from performance to execution, which is useful timing immediately after two retrogrades end, because the month leaves you with a list and then hands you the energy to get through it.

Mercury Clears Its Shadow, November 30

Mercury returns to 20 degrees Scorpio, the degree it stationed retrograde at on 24 October. The cycle that began with the pre-retrograde shadow on 4 October is finished here.

The shadow is the part worth knowing about. Conversations reopened in the retrograde usually reach their conclusion in this final stretch, well after the station day.

More on this: Venus in Scorpio.

The Bigger Picture

The slow planets barely move all month and all of them are worth knowing about. Jupiter is in late Leo, Saturn is retrograde at 8 degrees Aries and Neptune at roughly 2 degrees Aries, both of them stationing direct in December. Uranus is retrograde in early Gemini, which is what puts it on the full moon. Pluto is moving forward again at 3 degrees Aquarius after stationing direct in October.

So the structure of November is: a first half that is still finishing October, a hinge on the 13th, and a second half that moves faster than the first. The month has a clear middle, which most months do not.

If you want one date to plan around, make it the 13th. If you want one to leave empty, make it the 24th.
