Each layer shows part of the relationship. Together they tell the story.

Frequently Asked Questions About Synastry Charts
What is a synastry chart?
A synastry chart compares 2 birth charts by laying one over the other. It shows the aspects between the 2 people’s planets, where each person’s planets land in the other’s houses, and how the 2 charts fit together as a relationship.
Is this synastry chart really free?
Yes. The chart, the closest aspects between you, the house overlays for the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars, the composite chart and today’s transits are free. Two Charts, One Story, the full written synastry reading, is coming soon.
What do I need to make a synastry chart?
Both birth dates, both birth times and both birth places, plus your email address, since your private chart link is sent there.
Can I make a synastry chart without a birth time?
Yes. Tick the box for an unknown birth time. The planet to planet aspects still work, the houses and angles for that person drop out, and the Moon is marked approximate.
What is the difference between synastry and a composite chart?
Synastry keeps the 2 charts separate and shows how they act on each other. The composite blends them into one chart built from the midpoints between your planets, and it describes the relationship itself.
Can I compare my chart with my child, my parent or a business partner?
Yes. Synastry works for any 2 people. The same aspect can read very differently between partners, between a parent and child, or between 2 people who work together, which is what Two Charts, One Story will read for you.
