Showing up online authentically means sharing in the tone and rhythm your voice already uses when nobody is grading it, and building your content habits around that voice. The steps are small, and most of them start with noticing what you already do well.
Start With How You Already Talk
Your clearest samples of your natural voice are probably sitting in places you never think of as content: the voice memo you sent a friend, the email you dashed off without editing, the comment you left on someone else’s post. Read a few of those back. They’re often warmer and more specific than anything you’ve drafted for your business, and they show you the words you reach for when you’re not performing.
Choose a Format That Fits Your Voice
Some voices land best in writing, some on video, and some in a single image with 2 lines underneath. If Mercury in your astrology chart leans toward story and imagery, a long caption might feel natural, and if you think in quick, precise points, a short list might carry you further. Pick the format you’d still be willing to use on a tired Tuesday, because that’s the one you’ll keep showing up in.
Post Before It Feels Perfect
