Where the Story Gets Away From the Facts
The specific claim that Barbault named or predicted this exact configuration as “the Barbault Basket” doesn’t trace back to a citable line in his writing. What he documented was broader: the index bottoming out around 2020 to 2022, then climbing through the mid-2020s, with the February 2026 Saturn-Neptune conjunction marked as a turning point. The tight July 19-21 dating and the word “basket” look like something built on top of that framework after the fact, then credited back to him for authority.
The tell is in how the sources disagree with each other. Some count four planets in the pattern, some count five. Some include Saturn, some explicitly note it doesn’t aspect anything at the time and shouldn’t be there.
